Welcome, I'm Claire, a PhD Candidate in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department, at UCLA.  Before crossing the pond I completed my undergraduate at the University of Liverpool and my MSc at the University of Exeter, Cornwall Campus.

My research focuses on the evolution of social groups and group behaviours. At the moment I'm using the honey bee (Apis mellifera) to answer these questions but I've also worked with drosophila, damselflies, and even the odd Homo sapien!

There's lots of resources dotted around this site.  Check out the Links page for useful websites, the Blog for resources relating to classes I've taught, and you can always follow me on twitter.
